2) to debunk erroneous genealogy that has appeared  on the web.

Father’s Side: Primarily Scots and Welsh – Brodie, Kirkwell, Shaw, Walker, Baird and others.
 
Mother’s Side: Primarily Scots-Irish and German – Black, Loehr, Allen, Caldwell, Faulkner, Hoch, Laird, Reynolds, Bartholomew and others.
